Alarm

Re: Verse reading – Jeremiah 18:1-17; 19:1-20:6 (Day Three)
“Does the snow of Lebanon
ever vanish from its rocky slopes?”  When streams dry up, life suffers.  What is true of the physical realm is true first of the spiritual realm—not because the physical realm is merely an inferior copy of the spiritual realm.  It isn’t.  But before the material universe came to be, God existed.  He created the universe—everything that is—to function in a certain way—and only in that way.  When streams dry up, people become alarmed, because they know the hardship that’s coming.  Their physical well being is in danger.  What is true of the physical is true first of the spiritual.  Has righteousness ceased to flow in our lives?  Should we be concerned?

  1. Pastor Bryan, Pls forgive me for the question I am about to ask as it is in no way meant to be negative. As you know my husband and I are re-learning the bible together. We read the assigned verses in the bible and the children’s bible then we read the study guide. Once we have done that we read all the Pastor’s messages and passages in the weekly Daily reflections. I am, however confused and do not understand the message you were trying to convey. Therefore I can not help or explain what I myself do not understand to my husband ricky. Could you or anybody offer us a little of their time to help us to understand this particular passage and message? pls forgive us it is not that we are ignorant but rather spiritually hungry to re-learn and understand God’s word and messages. Any help again from any one who may have a little time to help us to understand would truly be appreciated. As always, my husband and I thank you all so very much for your kindness, prayer’s and patience’s. You are all always in our hearts and prayers. have a blessed week and thank you for any help anyone can provide…Irene and Richard
